Climbing to the top and using the Waygate there will send players all the way to Ansel River Main. From there, players will need to progress through the Uhl Palace Ruins, and then head through a tunnel system that opens up into Nokstella, Eternal City.

Follow the River to Nokstella, Eternal City

Entering from Ainsel River Well:
When entering this way you are only able to go through the smaller Uhl Palace Ruins section, and then fight the Dragonkin Soldier in Nokstella. You can't use this route to reach the northern part of Ainsel River or go to the Lake of Rot.
Ranni the Witch Method
It's not necessary to meet here here to start her questline, but it does shed light on the nature of this demigod.
Ranni's final location is deep down in the Cathedral of Manus Celes in Moonlight Altar. This area is available after defeating Astel, Naturalborn of the Void.
